We will be covering Saturday and Sunday of Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival for Old Rookie and Easy Street Records. Though the festival has seen its fair share of changes over the years, it remains a local mecca for the arts every Labor Day Weekend. This year, the new gathering space at KEXP is an additional stage that will feature mostly local favorites, as well as national acts. There are pop up shops for Sup Pop and Light In The Attic record labels to peruse vinyl and other goodies. Local and national acts will perform across all genres, bringing people of all ages and cultures together to celebrate the city.
Below is a list of recommendations for folks who want to get out and experience a wide variety of live art. The links will take you to articles and videos to familiarize yourself, if necessary. Hope to see you out there.
