Sonic Sofa is not here to compete against KEXP, but that’s not the point. There is enough good artists and creative folks in Seattle creating new platforms and new ways to reach the eyes and ears of music fans across all channels. Sonic Sofa is a new live performance and interview session filmed at Hazy Bay Studios in South Park, a neighborhood in South Seattle. Despite it’s very DIY appeal, the sound and video quality certainly rivals what local radio is doing.
Seattle rapper and beat maker, Kazadi, put out one of our favorite hip hop projects in years with Lucid EP. Here he performs two tracks from it Falling & A Tale of 4 Women, as well as a new Untitled cut.
