You have heard Farmer Dave, whether you knew it at the time or not. Though he remains a mysterious man, his musical credits include working with Kurt Vile, Jenny Lewis, Will Oldham and Beachwood Sparks, Skiffle Players among many others over the last two decades. Farmer Dave Scher released his first record of solo material in a long while with his new band, The Wizards of the West. It’s a bit of a space odyssey with sounds along the country and acid jazz spectrum.
