Over the last few years, New York artist Dan Knishkowy aka Adeline Hotel has been creating layered, warm sounds that envelope the listener whether it be the background to cooking dinner or plugged into headphones strolling the neighborhood. For his new record Good Timing, he took a stab at instrumental guitar parts. What started as simply splicing together improvised strumming and picking pieces ends in a wonderfully calming collection of songs recalling the likes of John Fahey and William Tyler.

Good Timing is precisely that. As most of the country is covered in a sheet of ice, the 10-track, 23 minute record provides company to those inside avoiding the frozen temps and to those outside enjoying the beauty of it all.
