From the hills of the Washington State, Sam Gelband makes his home in New Orleans these days. Through the moniker of Mr. Sam & The People People, he manages to blend the bayou bar room sounds with a spirit of the Northwest on a joyous collection of tunes titled People People People People! He is a people person, clearly, and sings folksy turns of phrase with a smile.

The record is a true collaboration with some of Sam’s.. “people.” Sam Doores, Chris Acker, Gina Leslie, Ross Farbe lent their talents to the fun. The jaunty piano, group harmonies give it a fun house party feel, but few things will sound better than throwing on People People People People! in the car on a sunny day while you take your time getting to where you need to be.
