Although streaming music services continue to be the way most of us consume music, vinyl releases are the time tested way for fans to physically connect to the music and artistry of their favorite bands. Personally, if I’m gonna throw money on a vinyl release, the majority, if not all the tracks, have to be good and it has to be something that I know I’m going to want to have in my collection long after the next trend in music consumption has come and gone.

Like most new artists, Dabeull released his Fonk Delight EP on Soundcloud back in October of 2014 with the help of his French label Roche Musique. Since then, he has garnered a strong following despite having performed live only a handful of times, most recently at the Electrobeach Music Festival in France in early July.

Then came the news this week that fans were waiting for, as he has finally released Fonk Delight on vinyl. Taking elements from the funk legends before him, Dabeull unleashes this epic 5 song EP of electronic funk groove that uses heavy bass line rhythm to pave the way for the synthesized riffs and auto-tune vocals that would snap a tortoise out of rigor mortis.
