It is fitting and legit for the debut single and video by Brooklyn MC and producer, Chuck Strangers, to be produced by Alchemist and visually co-directed by Joey Bada$$. Fresh, a 3-minute “act-right be-right” manifesto features Strangers contemplating what could be, versus the what is… while lullaby strings and a Carmel colored shifting sky signify better times on the horizon. Bada$$, along with Alchemist, Statik Selektah, and The RZA, make brief cameos. But this witty and serious account of various situations is Chuck Strangers moment to let it be known…He’s coming for the taking in 2018.

Pro Era, a popular Brooklyn hip-hop collective, has made a global impact since their start in 2012. Crew leader, Joey Bada$$, has become one of hip-hop’s biggest talents, and Pro Era artists like Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, and CJ Fly have launched their own successful solo careers.  Chuck Strangers has been a key member of Pro Era from the start, producing classic Joey Bada$$ tracks like Daily Routine, FromdaTomb$, a track he was on.

Summer Knights, My Yout, Escape 120, Rockabye Baby, and more. A true double-threat who’s just as skilled on the mic as he is behind the boards, Chuck is poised as the next breakout star from the Era. He’s scheduled to record with Nature Sounds and release his solo debut album next year.
