The Everett Music Initiative has been making good on its goal to bring a true music identity to the city of Everett. Over the last 12 years, the number of folks coming to town has grown in strength in large part to the annual Fisherman’s Village Festival. Whether making the 30 minute trek from Seattle, or all around the region, Fisherman’s Village has grown from the pride of Everett to a destination festival for Washingtonians, artists of all kinds, and music fans. Between COVID, weather in the Northwest and the complications of the music industry these days, pulling off a Festival is no easy feat. It’s a labor of love and the folks at EMI really love their city.
