TOP 30 ALBUMS OF 2014

By Ian Bremner

Most people agree Top 10 or Top 50 or Top 100 lists are pretty arbitrary, but as December hits and you start to spend more time with family and less time at work, music becomes a more constant presence and it can be fun to look back on all of the new music you discovered/rediscovered/listened to/saw live/got drunk at said show/loved/hated/got spiritual with, whichever emotions were elicited throughout the year.

Here are 30 albums that Old Rookie has spent the majority of the year spinning, flipping, repeating, pressing play, turning up. If I am off my rocker, let me know by commenting or email. If you agree, disagree, think something is missing, let me know by commenting or email. Let’s create a READER’S CHOICE (whoever reads this) TOP-WHATEVER LIST!
